Good honest work, done fairly fast.

My brakes suddenly failed this morning. Almost completely. I called them and took it right in. The existing brakes were only 8 months old They took kia right in, and repaired what was wrong. The 2 ladies in the office returned my car to me--- much appreciated. . .im safer and grateful they fixed the issue. Joyce Schneider

Disappointed customer service. Seems the mechanics and the front desk don't communicate together until you make a call to find out the status or solution to fix problems. The mechanic repaired/re-routed the electrical issue that was draining the battery. It would of be great to get a call prior to them spending hours to reroute the electrical to keep me informed. My car was with them for about 3 weeks. I had to make many calls to find out the status - seemed like I was forgotten! Maybe too busy or not managed well. They told me at the end of the 3 weeks transmission fluid was needed to be flushed. Recommended filter. I said yes only after I made my 4th call to. It took 3 business days to get filter- why? I was frustrated and told them to stop and I was coming to pick up my car. Be aware - Be forewarned!

Car wouldn't start last night. Called Sue at Vander Wal's first thing this morning and after telling her I needed it for work tomorrow, she got my car in for service. It was ready by 4:00 pm. I know how busy they always are, and I so much appreciate the customer service of this family-owned business!

I have been taking my vehicles to Vander Wal's garage for quite some time now...their work is the best i have ever encountered in all the shops i have been to over the last many years...they repaired a car correctly that i have that four other shops failed to diagnosed properly..it still runs like new nearly five years later...just got my little ranger truck back from them...it runs stellar after they were done with it..their shop also repaired one of my son's trucks...they will certainly get my next one as well...five stars...
